I ran across an interesting link while surfing this morning, indicating that Goldman Sachs sold 43.7% of its BP stock three weeks before the spill.

The figures state that Goldman Sachs Asset Management held 6,025,387 shares, and sold 4,680,822 (-43.7) on 3-31-10.
I hasten to say I am not saying there was anything intended by anyone in creating the spill, don't go there on me. But after seeing the Sixty Minutes' piece revealing that the drilling project was in trouble, it is entirely possible that word spread throughout the industry.
